For an international and fast-growing logistics organization based in Tilburg, we are looking for a Transport Coordinator. In this role, you are responsible for managing and optimizing daily transport operations for a key customer. You act as the central point of contact, ensuring smooth execution, high service levels and continuous improvement within the transport process.
You will be part of a dedicated transport team, where you combine operational execution with problem-solving and stakeholder management. In addition to daily operations, you play an important role in identifying improvements and supporting operational changes based on your analytical and tactical insights.
Your responsibilities include:
- Monitoring and managing all in-transit shipments in close cooperation with carriers
- Proactively tracking and following up on pending shipments (IOD chasing)
- Reporting transport anomalies and performance issues to the customer
- Validating and analyzing carrier KPIs and taking corrective actions where needed
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers and stakeholders regarding transport operations
- Resolving operational issues, complaints and transport disruptions
- Proactively informing customers about shipment progress (B2B and B2C)
- Creating and analyzing daily and weekly forecasts and aligning with stakeholders
- Translating logistical challenges into practical and effective solutions
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and participating in projects

We are looking for a proactive and service-oriented professional with a strong affinity for logistics. You are able to work independently, communicate effectively with stakeholders and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Additionally, you bring:
- 1–3 years of relevant experience within logistics or transport operations
- Strong Excel skills
- Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken)
- A customer-focused and proactive mindset
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think in solutions
- An assertive and flexible attitude
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders
