1.Logistics Operation
• Supervise outbound and inbound team in order to keep an overview of the actual status of the in – and outbound process.
• Analyze weekly KPI reports (, goods issues, information on delivery, customers request handled) and rolling forecast in order to measure Transport performance. • Execute incident management in order to solve operational issues in an optimum way and time frame.
• Provide operational support in order to answer 2nd line questions and escalated issues.
• Maintain relationship with external parties (shipping companies, customs, LSP, customer) in order to have an optimum cooperation in place.
• Attend recurring meetings with internal customer in order to manage, evaluate and improve cooperation and share information on issues and actions taken, projects and developments.
• Act as LSP and customer contact,in order to answer escalated (2nd line) questions
2. Innovation and process improvement
• Provide support to process improvement team in order to enable them to make business cases and ROI reports regarding improvement possibilities.
• Lead, participate in or give support to projects related to in- outbound in order to meet the project targets.
• Drive the continuous improvement culture within the department to achieve efficiency within own department or facilitate this elsewhere in the organization in order to improve overall performance.
• Identifies capacity constraints and recommends both short and long term solutions and mitigation plan to remove bottlenecks.
3. Human Resource Management
• Organize recurring team meetings and meetings with individual team members in order to create an optimum working environment within the department.
• Execute general HR responsibilities such as job interviews, performance evaluation, follow up on sickness.
• Build trust among team members in order to create shared responsibility
