All products are produced in our own factories (EU/Asia) and therefore everything is in our own hands. The worldwide coverage provides continuity in demand/supply of the various product groups and ensures that the market drive is certainly present. The team in NL consists of 36 FTE in a combination of Sales/Marketing/Logistics/Administration and Service.

Job inhoud

The demand planner is to lead the forecasting process within the Benelux, work together with internal and external parties for the main goal to maintain and improve the service level to our customers.

Job Summary
Create a demand plan with horizon of 18 months for the 2 Benelux countries. This in connection with internal departments and collaboration with our main customers. Take the lead in the demand planning area and support the company in its growth and development strategies. Key measure of success is forecast accuracy, forecast bias and 1-plan.
Target is to make steps with key customers in collaborative forecasting to contribute for end goal of optimal  stock availability at customers. Further improvement of internal forecasting and S&OP processes with sales, marketing, finance and logistics at Benelux and HQ level.
This new role is part of the Logistics Benelux team of in total 4 positions (1 manager, 3 associates).

Responsibilities
  • This function primary focus is on demand planning and connecting processes.
  • Monthly forecast submission with rolling horizon of 1-18 months, for 2 countries Belgium and the Netherlands.
  • Benelux S&OP, embrace the monthly cycle for demand planning and monthly meetings
  • Propagate the supply chain function and translate this into working practice in collaboration with sales, marketing, finance. Specific working elements are product launches, phase in/out, portfolio size.
  • Likes to go outside and work with key customers together in the supply chain area for mutual benefits.
  • Create and maintain monthly KPI reporting, tracking analysing trends be able to report and present.
  • Continuous improvement of the role, innovate and find opportunities in the demand planning area.
  • Work in collaboration with headquarters demand planning team.

Job vereisten

Requirements
  • Knowledge of supply chain fundamentals, forecasting tools, supply chain indicators. Experience in consumer goods / FMCG / or equivalent.
  • Strong analytic skills, system and data driven, able to analyse large data sets, from data to insights and able to present to all stakeholders.
  • Excellent skills in Excel, able to develop (semi) automated reports for effective and efficient working behaviour.
  • Knowledge of system SAP, BW, IBP or equivalent.
  • Time management skills, helicopter view and knowing details for control.
  • Bachelor level, ~second job
