As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will take on the crucial responsibility of overseeing the day-to-day end-to-end operations management for one or more logistics units. These operations function across multiple shifts, and your role will encompass collaborative management alongside another supervisor for all shifts, engaging around 250 employees. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Operating within the Operations team situated at the Distribution Center in Breda, the Warehouse Supervisor is tasked with the following pivotal activities: Vigilantly monitoring daily and weekly operational advancements against forecasts and KPIs, addressing bottlenecks and underperformance promptly. Exercising leadership over seven lead personnel across seven distinct warehouse teams. Maintaining open lines of communication with the transportation department and carriers, fostering enhancements and resolving bottlenecks. Engaging in daily correspondence with internal customers, addressing inquiries concerning performance and potential solutions. Establishing a weekly communication channel with the in-house temporary agency, focusing on employee performance, flexible pool adjustments, and improvements. Contributing to and sharing insights for ongoing enhancement initiatives. Spearheading smaller operational change projects and actively participating in significant change endeavors. Actively promoting team cohesion and nurturing employee growth, including regular one-on-one sessions, team meetings, and absence management. Engaging in project-based undertakings. Providing support to the operations manager whenever necessary.
