In the Netherlands, we serve our customer from four locations: Heijen, Venlo, Venray and Schiphol-Rijk, within these locations approximately 1.000 employees are working for use. In addition to classic logistics services such as; warehousing,picking, transport management and comprehensive value-added services, we also offer tailor-made solutions for companies from sectors such as consumer products, high-tech and healthcare. For various customers we take the entire logistics process out of their hands.
Job inhoud
As Teamlead, you are operationally responsible for managing your team (10-20 employees). You
are the point of contact on the floor and empower your employees. You divide and coordinate the
activities on a daily basis, with the aim of effectively carrying out all the work in the warehouse.
Together with the Supervisor, you schedule staff at the place where the employee can do his best
work.
Main activities:
– You encourage the team with positive energy;
– Coordinating the daily activities;
– Scheduling with staff;
– Monitoring quality (including compliance with work instructions and procedures, both operational
and focused on aspects of quality, health, environment and safety);
– Providing input to Supervisor for the planning, progress and assessment interviews;
– Participating in improvement projects.
Job vereisten
You have experience within logistics and/or as a manager and are looking for a new impetus. You
enjoy being in front of a group and convey your message in a clear and motivating way. Training
and coaching employees is second nature to you and you radiate energy. You have no objection
to working shifts for part of the year. You are always alert to the process, you initiate improvement
opportunities and you like to be involved in innovative projects.
What we also look for:
– You have experience working with an ERP package preferably in SAP (Pre);
– Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar position preferably in a logistics environment;
– You are able to replace the supervisor during absences;
– You speak and write fluent English;
– Open to travel to our site in Heijen (Gennep) the first month for training.
