The system support role is part of the Engineering Team within Innovation, Projects and Stock Control. The team is a mix of IT specialists, logistics engineers and system support functions.
Key activities of the System Support Role are:
First Line System Support
Manage operational system issues for multiple sites.
Diagnose and prioritize issues.
Determine necessary actions.
Communicate with relevant individuals within other departments in the organization.
Escalate issues if required.
Acquire and maintain thorough understanding of (changing) transport and warehouse processes.
Monitor follow up actions.
Continuous Improvement
Proof system issues in the test system and suggest structural solutions in cooperation with Logistics Engineering and Operations.
Participate in customer implementation and/or process changes incl. testing and go-live support.
Identify process deviations and translate deviations into solutions and improvement proposals.
